Job summary

Raytheon UK is seeking a Training Solution Architect to lead integration of submarine training systems, courseware and devices. The role supports the UK MOD ITS program, coordinating across suppliers, customers and end users, with a focus on secure, auditable handovers.

Primarily home-based with travel to meetings; BPSS and SC clearance is required or obtainable. You will work within the Training Coherence Team to ensure coherent training pipelines and effective deployment of training

Qualifications

• Recent experience with operation of and training of complex submarine systems.
• Experience implementing integration projects in defence.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Defence training systems.
• Experience working across security classifications and delivering Secure by Design solutions.
• Ability to form effective relationships with stakeholders and manage configuration processes.

Responsibilities

• Identify issues impacting delivery of training systems into the training environment.
• Develop solutions to minimise impact of issues.
• Coordinate integration requirements with on-site specialists.
• Build relationships with external stakeholders for effective collaboration.
• Oversee integration of course elements, devices and courseware from development to installation and commissioning.
• Act as subject matter expert on installation, commissioning, and handover of devices.
• Ensure successful handover with artefacts like Transition to Service Plans and training manuals.
• Coordinate with IA, Safety & Environmental leads to meet device requirements.
