Job summary

FMG, part of ZIGUP, is recruiting a Third Party Claims Handler in the UK. You will manage motor claims end-to-end, investigate liability, negotiate settlements, and control costs while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the insurance claims industry.
• Knowledge of credit hire and personal injury claims is preferred.
• Strong conscientiousness and self-motivation.
• Excellent questioning, negotiation, and workload ownership.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of third-party motor claims from start to finish.
• Investigate liability and review evidence to support claim decisions.
• Negotiate settlements to achieve the best commercial outcome.
• Handle credit hire and personal injury claims (OIC/MOJ).
• Challenge excessive or disputed claim costs where appropriate.
• Liaise with customers, insurers, solicitors, and third-party representatives.
• Keep claims progressing and meet service targets.
• Provide a professional, friendly, customer-focused service.
