Job summary

FMG, part of ZIGUP, is recruiting a Downtime Management Claims Handler in Huddersfield. The role focuses on interacting with brokers, insurers, and customers to progress vehicle claims while delivering high-quality customer service.

You will work in a hybrid setup with a base salary starting around £24,853, plus a quarterly bonus and a strong benefits package including pension, life insurance, and wellbeing support. Training and career progression are emphasised within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in motor insurance claims would be beneficial but is not essential.
• You’re a real people person, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• You’ll hold a professional, personable, and positive telephone manner, with the ability to show lots of empathy, build good rapport and actively listen to our customers’ needs.

Responsibilities

• Interact with Brokers, Insurers, and Customers daily to progress claims.
• Ensure claims progress efficiently and vehicles are returned to customers promptly.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the claims journey.
