Fintelligent Search Ltd. is recruiting a Third Party Motor Claims Handler – Credit Hire & Liability to manage a portfolio of claims, from notification through settlement, with focus on liability and credit hire. The role offers development opportunities within a regulated insurance environment and a supportive team.

You will investigate complex claims, negotiate outcomes, and build expertise while maintaining high standards of record-keeping and compliance. Salary £28,000–£33,000 DOE + bonus.

Qualifications

• Two years’ motor claims experience, ideally within third-party claims.
• Strong knowledge of liability assessment and the motor claims lifecycle.
• Exposure to credit hire or disputed claims is beneficial.
• Confident communicator with stakeholders.
• Experience in a regulated insurance environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of third-party motor claims from notification to settlement.
• Handle property damage, liability, and disputed claim matters.
• Investigate claims and make evidence-based liability decisions.
• Manage credit hire cases, including validation and cost-control.
• Liaise with insurers, solicitors, claimants and external stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Work with colleagues while prioritising deadlines.
