Job summary

Red Dot Search UK Limited is seeking a claims handler in the Manchester area to manage third party vehicle and property damage claims from initial notification to settlement. The role involves evaluating liability, validating credit hire periods and rates, and communicating with solicitors, insurers and accident management companies.

The ideal candidate has motor claims experience (TPPD, credit hire or accidental damage) and can maintain composure on the phone when challenged.

Qualifications

• Experience handling motor claims (TPPD, credit hire or accidental damage).
• Ability to assess liability and liability calls with solicitors.
• Ability to handle phone conversations and push back professionally.

Responsibilities

• Handle third party vehicle and property damage claims from first notification to settlement.
• Conduct liability investigations and gather evidence to make informed calls.
• Validate credit hire periods, rates and necessity, challenging where appropriate.
• Coordinate with solicitors, insurers and accident management companies in writing and on the phone.
• Spot fraud indicators and escalate.
