Job summary

Medidata is seeking a Technical Support Engineer in Greater London for a hybrid role, acting as the primary liaison between support and core engineering. You will handle work requests, develop fixes, and document resolutions for internal and external customers.

You will diagnose issues across databases, OS, network, and hardware, craft SQL scripts, and leverage AI tools like Copilot and Gemini to draft knowledge base content and support materials.

Qualifications

• This role requires API/web services experience and strong SQL skills.
• Applicants should be proficient in C#, Javascript, Visual Studio, Ruby, Python and ASP.NET.
• Experience with incident/project management tools and multiple integrated software products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for internal and external customers
• Manage work requests describing issues, bugs, or customer problems
• Develop fixes or SQL scripts to resolve problems and apply patches
• Produce knowledge base content and technical documentation
• Participate in on-call rotations for urgent issues
• Communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards in troubleshooting and documentation
