Job summary

Medidata in London is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to be the primary contact between support and core engineering teams. You will handle requests, diagnose issues, and test fixes while coordinating with R&D on complex problems.

You will use SQL, API/REST tools, Postman, and AI assistants to draft knowledge base content, reproduce problems, and communicate updates to clients. Strong collaboration and a Bachelor’s in a technical field are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or life sciences, or equivalent engineering experience.
• Experience with API/web services and multiple integrated software products.
• SQL experience querying and modifying data in MySQL, MS SQL, MongoDB or Snowflake.
• Experience with incident or project management software and customer resolution.
• Proficiency with AI tools for problem solving and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for internal and external customers.
• Manage work requests describing issues, software bugs or customer problems.
• Develop fixes or SQL scripts to resolve customer problems or apply patches.
• Participate in on-call rotations for urgent issues and customer calls.
• Document resolutions and contribute to knowledge base content.
