Job summary

Medidata is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to serve as the primary contact between support and core engineering teams. You will diagnose, test, and document defects, craft fixes, and communicate status to clients within a hybrid work environment.

You will engage with AI tools and developer environments (GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Postman) to accelerate resolutions while ensuring regulatory and data privacy standards are met. Collaboration with R&D and other Medidata teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent engineering experience.
• Experience with API/web services.
• SQL experience querying and modifying data (MYSQL, MS SQL Server, MongoDB, Snowflake).
• Experience with multiple programming languages and developer tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for internal and external customers.
• Manage work requests describing issues, software bugs or customer problems.
• Develop fixes or SQL scripts, or identify existing patches to apply.
• Present complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Reproduce problems, diagnose causes, and communicate status to clients.
