Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Procurement Manager for a hybrid role based in Flintshire. The ideal candidate will oversee the procurement process, ensuring compliance with public sector regulations. Responsibilities include developing commercial strategy plans and presenting recommendations to senior leadership. Prior experience in stakeholder engagement and knowledge of ERP systems like SAP or Oracle is essential. This position starts with an initial 3-month contract, with potential for extension.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing the end-to-end procurement process from pre sourcing to contract management.
• Experience working within the public sector with public sector regulations (eg PCR 2015, UCR 2016, PA 2023).
• Experience in stakeholder and supplier engagement and building positive working relationships.
• Knowledge of ERP Systems (eg SAP or Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for determining the appropriate commercial strategy for project requirements.
• Drafting strategy plans and commercial management plans.
• Facilitating/delivering action recommendations to Senior Leadership.
