Job summary

Barratt Developments plc in the North Midlands is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead construction of new homes on site, ensuring work aligns with the build programme, budgets and health and safety requirements.

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will coordinate trades, manage labour and materials, conduct inspections with NHBC, and work closely with Sales to ensure a smooth handover to customers.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering to an established build programme.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving on busy sites.
• Knowledge of NHBC standards, Building Regulations and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site construction to meet safety, quality and cost targets.
• Coordinate labour, materials and subcontractors to keep the build programme.
• Conduct on-site inspections and liaise with NHBC and Local Building Inspector.
• Deliver high standards of site presentation and customer handover readiness.
• Lead toolbox talks and liaise with internal departments and sales teams.
