Job summary

Barratt Developments plc is seeking a Site Manager to lead construction across developments in the UK. You will ensure health and safety compliance, manage labour and materials, and drive delivery within cost and quality targets.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a track record of delivering against build programmes, with knowledge of NHBC standards and Building Regulations. Hybrid working is possible where role allows.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering against an established build programme.
• Proven ability to hit weekly targets via efficient labour planning.
• Excellent communication and leadership to ensure quality and safety.
• Knowledge of NHBC standards, Building Regulations and customer care.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction of developments and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Coordinate labour, materials and subcontractors to meet build programme.
• Oversee quality and cost control, approving payments to contractors.
• Lead plot inspections with inspectors and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Conduct toolbox talks and liaise with internal teams and suppliers.
• Deliver high on-site presentation and customer tours with Sales.
