Job summary

National Highways is seeking a Lead Service Manager to drive cloud-enabled capabilities within the Digital Services Directorate. The role focuses on DevSecOps delivery, governance, and funding through to delivery across multiple programmes.

The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, including line management of a Senior Service Delivery Manager and matrix management of a third-party supplier. Hybrid working two days per week in the office is required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering large cloud-based programmes.
• Strong understanding of Agile and DevSecOps practices.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and governance artefacts.

Responsibilities

• Lead DevSecOps delivery across Infrastructure & Platforms.
• Develop governance artefacts and secure funding for new cloud services.
• Manage a budget for the DevSecOps practice and suppliers.
• Provide strategic input into cloud roadmaps and long-term plans.
