National Highways seeks a Lead Service Manager to drive DevSecOps-enabled delivery within Infrastructure & Platforms. The role combines strategic governance, budget stewardship and hands-on leadership across cloud compute initiatives.

You will manage a Senior Service Delivery Manager and collaborate with a third-party supplier, whilst spending two days per week in the office across UK locations.

Competenze

• Extensive knowledge of cloud compute hyper-scalers (e.g. MS Azure, Amazon AWS).
• Proven ability to manage a DevSecOps delivery team to achieve sprint velocity and delivery critical business outcomes.
• Strong understanding of Agile and ADO principles and processes and applying them in project environments.
• Demonstrable evidence of influencing team dynamics and collaborative working.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.

Mansioni

• Deliver strategic outcomes using the DevSecOps capability within Infrastructure & Platforms.
• Manage the full cycle of new deliveries and capabilities from scoping to delivery, including governance artefacts.
• Lead a hybrid role with two office days per week across National Highways locations in the UK.
• Manage the budget for the DevSecOps practice and managed services contract.
• Prepare governance artefacts for commercial sourcing of cloud compute services and capabilities (e.g., Business Cases).
• Provide strategic input into cloud compute roadmaps for Infrastructure & Platforms.
• Line management of a Senior Service Delivery Manager / Product Owner and matrix management of a third-party supplier.
