Job summary

National Highways is seeking a Senior Identity Manager to oversee IAM across Cyber Security, Digital Operational Services, and Digital Corporate and Shared Services. The role is hybrid, with two office days per week at UK locations, and requires SC clearance.

The Senior Identity Manager will lead delivery, governance, and continual improvement of IAM services, manage suppliers, incidents, and system transitions, ensuring correct access and a strong security posture across the transport network.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading service teams delivering IAM or similar identity services.
• Experience maintaining live technology services and managing incidents.
• Proven supplier management experience with performance reporting.
• Knowledge of access control systems and identity related policies.
• Understanding of change management processes and ITSM tools.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar IT service platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage suppliers of identity services to ensure services are delivered effectively, meet quality expectations, and provide value to users and stakeholders.
• Maintain Identity processes and knowledge-based articles ensuring alignment with policy, change and business processes.
• Implement and enforce identity policies and standards to ensure that access is compliant and meets business expectations.
• Manage incidents and enquiries, providing resolution and advice to support the team in delivering the best service to the customer and supporting a high performing team culture.
• Manage the delivery and transition of systems into Identity Assurance Governance and Privileged Access Management monitoring to ensure access to National Highways assets and systems are controlled, monitored and authorised.
