Job summary

Inspired ICT Solutions Ltd is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join a growing team delivering practical IT support to primary schools across Berkshire, North Hampshire and South Oxfordshire. Hybrid work pattern with on-site visits as needed, term-time home-based work with holidays on-site.

You will manage tickets, resolve hardware and software issues, administer Microsoft 365 and local networks, and contribute to installations and upgrades.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering IT support in schools or education settings.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical users.
• Excellent troubleshooting and issue-resolution skills.
• Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work independently.
• Good technical documentation practices.
• Proficient with Windows OS and Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with AD, DNS and IP networking basics.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
• Willingness to undergo enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive IT support to teachers, pupils and school leaders.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, Wi-Fi and AV issues.
• Install and maintain computers, software, servers and network equipment.
• Manage Microsoft 365 services and school IT systems.
• Handle support tickets, prioritise demands and update users.
• Document faults and solutions clearly for future reference.
• Support installations, upgrades and school-holiday projects.
