Job summary

Inspired ICT Solutions Ltd is seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide responsive IT support to primary schools across Berkshire, North Hampshire and South Oxfordshire. You will work mainly from home during term time, with on-site visits as needed during school holidays.

Reporting to the IT Support Team Leader, you will manage tickets, install and configure computers and Microsoft 365, and ensure safeguarding and GDPR compliance. A full UK driving licence and enhanced DBS check are required.

Qualifications

• Proven IT support experience, preferably in education or MSP.
• Clear written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical users.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work independently.
• Excellent documentation of issues and resolutions.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly IT support to teachers, pupils and school staff.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, Wi‑Fi and AV issues.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, software, servers and network equipment.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services and school IT systems.
• Manage support tickets and communicate progress to users.
• Complete site visits and assist with installations and upgrades.
• Explain technical issues clearly and safeguard data and GDPR requirements.
• Maintain professional standards and adapt to evolving needs and client requirements.
