Job summary

TRIA Recruitment Limited is seeking an Application Support Analyst for a Dorset-based hybrid role in the retail sector. You will investigate and resolve incidents, monitor integrations and APIs, and collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure services remain available and aligned with business needs.

The role covers support for major incidents, service restoration, and driving improvements through automation and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise applications in a complex environment.
• Retail systems experience, ideally POS and merchandising platforms.
• Knowledge of Incident, Problem and Change Management.
• Experience with APIs, integrations and data flows.
• SQL skills and exposure to Scripting (PowerShell, SQL or similar).
• Experience with cloud-hosted/SaaS applications and third-party suppliers.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve application incidents and service requests.
• Support major incidents and coordinate service restoration.
• Monitor applications, integrations, APIs, reporting feeds and batch processes.
• Work with suppliers and internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
• Support new systems and projects transitioning into BAU.
• Drive service improvements, automation and operational excellence.
