Computershare UK seeks an Application Support Analyst to work in Bristol (Hybrid). You’ll support applications, servers and automated solutions underpinning client communications, collaborating with developers and service delivery teams to build technical expertise across support, server management and change processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in application support, technical support or IT operations environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate incidents and identify root causes.
• Knowledge of Windows Server environments, application monitoring and system performance management.
• SQL querying skills and an understanding of data processing concepts.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and experience using service management or ticketing tools.
• Interest in developing specialist expertise in business-critical applications, alongside exposure to PowerShell, IIS, ITIL practices and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring applications, automated workflows and server environments to maintain performance and availability.
• Investigating incidents, performance issues and error messages, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
• Processing client data files and supporting the delivery of customer communications.
• Supporting Windows server environments, software releases, upgrades and change activities.
• Working with developers, infrastructure teams and service delivery managers to resolve issues and support new solutions.
• Contributing to disaster recovery activities, technical projects, documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
