Job summary

The Methodist Church in Britain is looking for a trade scheduler to coordinate the diaries of trade operatives and ensure repair and servicing appointments run on time. The role offers hybrid working with three days in the office and two remote days.

You will contact customers and operatives to arrange or adjust appointments, prioritise urgent jobs and ensure operatives have materials and routes. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Organise and manage the schedules of trade operatives so appointments are kept.
• Contact customers and operatives to arrange or change appointments.
• Prioritise urgent and overdue jobs so they are completed on time.
• Make sure operatives have the right materials and routes for their jobs.
• Fill gaps in schedules with planned work to keep productivity high.
• Track job progress, completions and updates from subcontractors.
