This hybrid role requires strong relationship, lending experience, and a proactive approach to cross-selling, risk management and stakeholder collaboration across local markets.

Qualifications

• Experience in Business/Corporate Banking or Financial Services.
• Strong relationship management or client management background with focus on customer service.
• Proven track record of developing business and expanding accounts.
• Knowledge of commercial lending principles and practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to influence.
• Solid understanding of risk management and controls.
• Good organisational and prioritisation skills; able to manage stakeholders.
• Full driving licence for face-to-face meetings across West Yorkshire.

Responsibilities

• Manage an existing portfolio of 50-70 SME clients, growing the business sustainably.
• Act as HSBC ambassador by raising the bank’s profile in the local business community.
• Support clients by placing their needs first and maintaining world-class service.
• Identify new business opportunities and nurture existing relationships.
• Build relationships with local professionals and business owners for referrals.
• Adhere to credit, operational, regulatory and risk management processes.
• Collaborate with product partners to address needs of international and domestic customers.
