Job summary

HSBC in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Relationship Manager for SME Business Banking. You will manage an existing portfolio of 50-70 clients, focusing on sustainable growth, expanding relationships and representing HSBC in the local business community.

You will work to deliver world-class customer service, identify new opportunities, and collaborate with product teams to meet the needs of international and domestic customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in Business/Corporate Banking or Financial Services
• Relationship management or client management with focus on customer service
• Proven business development with track record of growth and new business
• Experience in commercial lending
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to influence
• Strong understanding of risk management
• Full driving licence to attend meetings in Bristol, Cheltenham and Gloucester areas

Responsibilities

• Manage an existing portfolio of 50-70 clients, focusing on sustainable growth and expanding relationships
• Represent HSBC in the local business community as an ambassador
• Support customers by placing their needs at the forefront and maintaining world-class service
• Identify new opportunities and nurture existing relationships
• Build relationships with local professionals and business owners who can introduce clients
• Follow governance for credit, operations, risk and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with product partners to meet international and domestic client needs
