Job summary

InvestIN Education is seeking a proactive Recruitment and People Operations professional to manage end-to-end seasonal staff recruitment, onboarding and compliance. The role also covers HR operations across the business, policy review, and payroll coordination in a hybrid Victoria-based office.

You will work with our People Operations team to ensure Safer Recruitment compliance, DBS checks, training tracking, and vendor coordination for venues and suppliers during peak programmes.

Qualifications

• Experience in live events, hospitality or similar environments.
• Strong IT literacy including Excel and Outlook.
• Highly detail-oriented with excellent multi-tasking.
• Interest in HR and recruitment; experience with team leadership or student societies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Administer end-to-end seasonal staff recruitment including attraction, assessment, onboarding and compliance.
• Coordinate attraction for junior seasonal and consultancy staff.
• Shortlist junior seasonal staff; review applications and conduct interviews.
• Coordinate seasonal staff assessment centres and DBS/reference checks.
• Manage payroll administration and rota planning for seasonal staff.
• Track training for staff and maintain recruitment portals and platforms (Eploy, Deputy, TES, iHASCO, CareCheck, SCR).
• Support HR policies, Employee Handbook, contracts and engagement letters.
• Assist day-to-day People Operations activities and stay updated on employment law.
