Job summary

University Hospitals Dorset's Recruitment Team, based at Yeoman's House, offers the chance to guide managers and candidates through the full recruitment journey. After training, you may work from home part of the week and travel to Bournemouth/Poole hospitals as needed.

You will handle policies, pre-employment checks, offers and onboarding with a professional, customer‑focused approach. We value accuracy, teamwork and clear communication, with ongoing opportunities to develop your HR skills

Qualifications

• Good standard of general education or equivalent demonstrable work experience.
• Vocational level 3 qualification in relevant field (IT/HR/Administration) or equivalent level of experience.
• European Computer Driving Licence or other relevant IT qualification
• Recruitment training / qualification

Responsibilities

• Work at pace to support recruiting managers and candidates through the recruitment journey.
• Support pre-employment checks in line with NHS Employment Check Standards.
• Advise managers on recruitment policies and best practice.
• Prepare and issue conditional offers and employment contracts.
• Complete pre-employment checks accurately and efficiently.
• Contribute to reducing vacancies and maintaining safe staffing.
• Attend recruitment events to promote the Trust.
• Respond to manager and candidate inquiries promptly.
