Job summary

Ingram Micro Group in Milton Keynes is seeking a Quote & Configuration Specialist to support the sales team by handling customer quotes, orders and contracts with accuracy. This role emphasizes organised administration and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Hybrid work pattern: three days in the Milton Keynes office with the rest remote. You will liaise with sales, technical and logistics teams, maintain records, and contribute to cross-selling while building product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within a sales or customer service setting.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to connect effectively with customers and internal teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to handle challenges proactively.
• The ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
• Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems and an interest in technology.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day administration of customer accounts with precision and care.
• Validating and maintaining essential documentation and electronic records.
• Processing customer quotes, orders, and contracts efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Supporting cross-selling and upselling of our products and services.
• Liaising with sales, technical, and logistics teams to address customer inquiries and ensure smooth operations.
• Monitoring order progress, resolving order-related issues, and providing timely updates to stakeholders.
• Continuously improving product knowledge to enhance profitability and customer satisfaction.
