Job summary

Co-op is reshaping its Digital, Technology and Data function and seeks Portfolio and Planning Analysts to drive visibility, coordination and confidence in change delivery. You'll join the Planning and Portfolio Enablement team on two opportunities: one permanent and one 18-month fixed-term; you can indicate your preference during the process.

Based in Manchester city centre with hybrid working (home/office once per month), you’ll collaborate with senior leaders and shape planning, prioritisation

Qualifications

• Experience supporting planning, tracking or reporting across portfolios, programmes or complex projects.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and provide evidence-based recommendations.
• Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies and governance activities within change delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination and tracking of programmes and projects across a technology value stream.
• Identify dependencies, risks, constraints and delivery trade-offs with leaders.
• Translate portfolio data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Prepare governance materials, reports and updates for review forums.
• Monitor progress, risks and delivery confidence and address issues early.
• Maintain accurate portfolio information and support standard planning and reporting.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across technology, finance and change delivery teams.
• Provide planning, governance and assurance support to major transformation programmes when required.
