Job summary

Co-op Digital in Manchester is seeking a Principal Delivery Manager to lead delivery across a diverse product and technology portfolio. The role is hybrid, with a mix of home and office work for workshops, meetings and events.

You’ll partner with product, technology and business leaders to improve value flow, coach senior stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in delivery practices while balancing immediate delivery with strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading delivery across complex product and technology environments.
• Strong coaching and leadership skills, with the ability to influence teams and senior leaders.
• Experience assessing delivery maturity and improving delivery practices in organisations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product, technology and business leaders to improve value flow across domains and teams.
• Coach and develop Delivery Managers and senior stakeholders, embedding modern delivery practices.
• Drive continuous improvement through practical, incremental changes to delivery practices.
• Help leaders navigate priorities, dependencies, and delivery challenges across a complex portfolio.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making.
• Support evolution of product-led ways of working balancing immediate delivery with long-term goals.
• Assess delivery maturity to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Guide teams in adopting effective delivery tools, governance, and planning.
