Home Limited is seeking a Payroll Assistant to join our busy Payroll Team based in Handforth, Cheshire. This hybrid role involves handling payroll for approximately 9,000 colleagues, with four-weekly cycles and a focus on accuracy and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have proven payroll administration experience, a sound understanding of payroll legislation, and strong communication skills. Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook is required; SAP payroll experience is a plus, along with

Qualifications

• Previous experience of administering payroll within an office environment is essential.
• Good understanding of current payroll legislation.
• Able to handle confidential information and adhere to GDPR.

Responsibilities

• Process timely, compliant payroll for c9000 colleagues on a four-weekly basis.
• Calculate SSP and company sick pay entitlements.
• Calculate statutory entitlements.
• Process P45s and New Starter Checklists.
• Assess colleagues for inclusion into the company pension scheme (auto-enrolment).
• Reconcile pension contributions before submission to provider.
• Query management to deliver first-class service to colleagues.
• Support processing of P11d returns using 3rd party software.
