Four Squared Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Payroll Assistant in the United Kingdom to join a growing professional services payroll team. You will process weekly and monthly payrolls and support pension administration while training to manage your own client portfolio over time.

The role offers hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 days at home), full payroll training, and a clear career progression path within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Has some exposure to payroll, finance administration or office-based administration.
• Is highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Enjoys working with numbers and data.
• Has good communication skills and enjoys helping others.
• Is keen to learn payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
• Has good Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Wants to progress their career within payroll and professional services.

Responsabilités

• Assisting with the processing of weekly and monthly payrolls
• Supporting pension administration and uploads
• Processing payroll changes including starters, leavers and amendments
• Producing payroll documentation including P45s and P60s
• Liaising with clients and responding to payroll queries
• Supporting year-end payroll activities
• Maintaining payroll records and ensuring compliance with payroll legislation
• Working closely with senior payroll staff to develop your technical knowledge
