Transaction Recruitment Ltd. in Stockport is supporting a local client in their search for an experienced Payroll Officer to join on a permanent basis. You will own multiple payrolls from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months experience within a payroll capacity.
• Experience processing starters and leavers.
• Experience calculating holiday and national insurance.
• Knowledge of SSP, SMP and SPP.
• Pensions knowledge is beneficial.
• Comfort with manual calculations and reconciliations.
• Ability to resolve payroll queries quickly.
• Up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation.

Responsibilities

• Own multiple payrolls from start to finish and ensure accuracy.
• Take ownership of payroll processing and timely payments.
• Respond to payroll queries and resolve issues efficiently.
• Keep up-to-date with current payroll legislation.
