Job summary

Home Limited is seeking a Payroll Assistant to join our busy Payroll Team in Handforth, Cheshire on a 12-month FTC. This hybrid role involves processing payroll for thousands of colleagues on a four-weekly cycle, with 4 days working from home and 1 office day per week.

You will support SSP, statutory entitlements, pensions, AOE/CSA deductions, P45s, New Starter checks, auto-enrolment pension assessments, and pension contribution reconciliations, while delivering accurate, confidential payroll

Qualifications

• Previous payroll administration experience is essential.
• Solid knowledge of current payroll legislation.
• Experience with SAP payroll is advantageous.
• Experience dealing with company cars and expenses is beneficial.
• Must be highly accurate and able to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for ~9,000 colleagues on a four-weekly cycle.
• Calculate SSP and statutory entitlements.
• Process AOE and CSA deductions, P45s, and New Starter checks.
• Assess colleagues for auto-enrolment into the pension scheme and reconcile pension contributions.
• Resolve payroll queries to deliver first-class service.
