Job summary

Dundee City Council is seeking a Landlord Registration/Accreditation Officer for a hybrid, part-time role based at home and 5 City Square, Dundee. The post is temporary until November 2028 and offers a flexible working pattern.

You will provide information and advisory services on all aspects of Landlord Registration and Accreditation, coordinate processing procedures, and maintain high standards of service to landlords, agents and the public.

Qualifications

• HNC/SVQ Level 3 or equivalent in relevant subject or experience of Private Sector Housing.
• Experience of investigating and dealing with complaints and of managing a large workload.
• Good IT skills including using databases and Excel.
• Effective communication and report writing skills.
• Ability to work on your own initiative with minimum supervision and under pressure.
• Knowledge of the private rented sector.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive information and advisory service to the public on Landlord Registration and Accreditation in line with current legislation and City Council policies.
• Coordinate, effect and ensure administrative procedures for enquiries and applications are carried out.
