Job summary

West Lothian Council is seeking Housing Officers to join the Housing Operations Team. The role focuses on delivering a generic housing management service, implementing policies, and ensuring compliance with legislation.

You will support tenants and families with complex needs and coordinate multi-functional services in line with council policy. The position is 36 hours per week, 52.14 weeks per year, permanent, with hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Implement and ensure compliance with Housing Management policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively at all levels and assist tenants with complex needs.
• Coordinate multi-functional services per council policy to meet tenants' needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate service delivery to ensure multi-functional services are delivered in accordance with council policy.
• Provide assistance to tenants and families facing tenancy difficulties.
• Ensure compliance with current legislation, regulation and good practice.
