Dundee City Council is seeking a Housing Maintenance Inspector to work in a hybrid pattern, splitting time between home and Fairmuir Depot/East District office. The role is full-time, 37 hours per week, with duties to inspect properties, plan reactive maintenance, and supervise contractors to maintain the housing stock.

Applicants should have an HND/SVQ4 or equivalent in Construction/Building, experience with repairs and maintenance of buildings and a background in working with the public.

Qualifikationen

• HND/SVQ4 or equivalent in Construction/Building or related discipline.
• Experience with repairs and maintenance of buildings.
• Experience of working directly with the public.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Office 365, Teams, Word, Excel.

Aufgaben

• Inspect and survey properties and develop, implement, and supervise reactive maintenance projects to improve and maintain the housing stock.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for Gas and Electrical Safety works.
