Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd in the Midlands is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee Fire, Life Safety and Security service and maintenance operations across the region. Hybrid working with regional travel.

You will lead engineers and subcontractors, drive KPIs, QHSE and customer satisfaction, and support quotations and project delivery. A strong background in social housing contracts is advantageous, though not essential for the role.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of Fire & Security systems.
• Experience leading engineering teams.
• Previous management experience is desirable.
• Social Housing/Housing Association experience is advantageous, not essential.
• Full UK driving licence (max 6 points).
• Ability to pass a DBS check.
• Commutable to Bromsgrove from Worcestershire/Warwickshire/West Midlands.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineers, subcontractors and engineering workflows.
• Oversee planned, reactive, remedial and small works.
• Ensure contractual KPIs, QHSE and H&S standards are met.
• Monitor performance, productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Support quotations and project delivery.
