Job summary

Absolute Interpreting and Translations Ltd is seeking a Fire & Security Operations Manager to lead service delivery across the Midlands and South-West from Bromsgrove. You will oversee planned, reactive, remedial, small works and project activities ensuring contractual KPIs are met and safety standards are upheld.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of fire, life safety and security systems, hands-on leadership of field engineers and subcontractors, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of fire, life safety and security systems.
• Experience with engineering teams and safety standards.
• Competent IT skills: Outlook, Excel, Word.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing planned, reactive, remedial, small works and project activity across customer contracts
• Ensuring service delivery meets KPI and best practice standards
• Managing field-based service engineers and subcontractors
• Handling incoming reactive and small works calls to meet KPIs
• Producing quotations and supporting delivery with senior management
• Ensuring health and safety policies are followed
• Supporting quality, health and environmental management systems
• Providing holiday cover for Regional General Manager
