Job summary

RGB Network is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Operations Manager to lead service delivery across Midlands and South-West customer contracts from Bromsgrove. You will oversee planned, reactive, remedial, small works and project activity, ensuring contracts meet KPIs and high standards.

You will line-manage field engineers and coordinate subcontractors while maintaining health and safety compliance and quality systems.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of fire, life safety and security systems (fire alarms, AOV, automatic doors, warden call, door entry, access control and CCTV).
• Hands-on experience working with engineering teams.
• Knowledge of quality, health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Competent IT skills, including Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing planned, reactive, remedial, small works and project activity across customer contracts.
• Ensuring service delivery meets best practice standards and contractual KPIs.
• First-line management of field-based service engineers and coordination of sub-contractor activity.
• Managing incoming reactive, remedial and small works calls to ensure engineering attendance meets contractual KPIs.
• Producing quotations and supporting the delivery of resulting works in collaboration with senior operational management.
• Coordinating specialist sub-contractor works.
• Ensuring health and safety policies and procedures are followed across all areas of responsibility.
• Supporting compliance with quality, health, safety and environmental management systems.
• Providing holiday cover for the Regional General Manager where required.

Fire & Security Operations Manager – Bromsgrove - £55,000

We are currently working with a fire, life safety and security specialist business who provide a wide range of service, maintenance, remedial, small works and project support across customer contracts throughout the Midlands and South-West. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an Operations Manager to join their team based from Bromsgrove.

Salary Package

• £50,000 - £55,000
• Bonus scheme
• Car allowance or vehicle provided
• 22 days’ annual leave & 8 days bank
• Hybrid working: 3 days office and 2 days home / field
• Official working hours are 8:30am - 5:00pm with a 30-minute lunch

Area Of Cover

Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, covering the Midlands and South-West region.

Duties

Experience Required

Essential:

Preferred:

• Previous management experience would be advantageous.
• Experience using engineering planning software to dispatch and schedule calls would be desirable.
