Brook Street is recruiting for an NHS customer contact advisor based near Newcastle. This temporary 6-month role offers hybrid work after training, with a base in the Newcastle area within 40 miles.

You will handle enquiries across multiple channels, support colleagues, and help customers with empathy and clear communication. Shifts run Monday to Friday 8am–6pm with occasional Saturdays, 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and the ability to talk to people.
• Natural empathy when dealing with potentially challenging conversations.
• High attention to detail in inputting and updating information.
• Confidence in taking customer telephone calls and resolving queries.

Responsabilités

• Answer customer enquiries promptly using various media within performance agreements.
• Contribute to building team spirit and help others to succeed.
• Provide help and guidance tailored to customer needs.
• Participate in coaching sessions and meetings with managers and your team.
• Work on computer systems, inputting, updating and amending information.
• Over time manage a diverse portfolio of workstreams.
