Job summary

Better Society Capital is seeking a highly organised professional to join the Investment Group as a coordinator. You will help run the investment calendar, governance cycles, and support team operations, including recruitment and onboarding, diaries, and CRM management.

You will also drive change projects, adopt new technology such as AI, and map investment processes, contributing to the Foundations of Social Investment Programme.

Qualifications

• Project management or administrative support in a busy, varied role, balancing competing priorities.
• Supporting committees, including collating papers and liaising with members.
• Working as part of a team and building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Actively engaging with technology to improve efficiency and quality, including the use of AI.
• Working in financial services, charities or social enterprises, or a clear interest in social impact.
• Using platforms such as Salesforce CRM, Slack and Notion.

Responsibilities

• Investment office (around 70%): coordinate annual investment calendar and governance cycles; track portfolio requirements; produce management information; support team operations (diaries, recruitment, onboarding).
• Team Operations: support recruitment and onboarding; manage diaries for executives; organise meetings and travel; manage inquiries; maintain CRM and intranet; coordinate learning resources.
• Across BSC: share best practices; participate in BSC Citizenship activities.
• Change and projects (around 30%): develop and roll out project management systems; adopt new technology including AI; map and improve investment processes; project manage Foundations of Social Investment Programme.
