Job summary

Capital Group is seeking an Investment Group Assistant (IG Support Coordinator) to partner with investors, optimize workflows, and drive information flow across the Capital System. You will coordinate complex scheduling, manage relationships with external providers, and leverage AI tools to improve meeting prep and decision support.

The role emphasizes proactive problem solving, operational excellence, and a strong service mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of administrative or operational experience
• Strong attention to detail with a consistent track record of high-quality output & effective problem solving
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholder priorities
• Uses feedback as an opportunity to demonstrate learning agility and adaptability
• Strong service mindset with a focus on responsiveness and teamwork
• Excel at using technology, systems, and AI tools to complete work and drive operational efficiencies (familiarity with Concur, FactSet, Microsoft suite and Copilot preferred)

Responsibilities

• Helps create investor capacity by coordinating complex logistics, improving workflows, enabling information flow, and supporting timely access to internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as a connector across the Capital System, facilitating collaboration and information sharing among investors, Corporate Access, METS, Technology, Sales, and other teams.
• Independently resolve service issues, using sound judgment, , and structured problem-solving to deliver consistent, high-quality support
• Proactively manage complex scheduling, travel, and logistical requirements requiring sound judgment and discretion, while ensuring alignment with investor priorities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external providers and corporate contacts, serving as a trusted point of coordination to keep Capital’s investors top of mind for access.
• Coordinate investor interactions with corporates, external research providers, industry experts, sales teams, and other key stakeholders to support investment decisions and client outcomes.
• Organize investment group calls and committee meetings, ensuring efficient scheduling, planning, material preparation, and execution.
• Leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve meeting preparation, information synthesis, workflow automation, and operational efficiency across the investment ecosystem.
• Build proficiency in AI and digital tools, to further support innovative IGA workflow use cases and their adoption across the team.
• Strengthen team capability and the future‑state support model by sharing best practices, supporting peer learning, and contributing to projects, recruiting, and initiatives that foster a culture of innovation and operational excellence.
