Job summary

Better Society Capital seeks a proactive Investment Office role in London. You will help run the annual investment calendar, support governance cycles, and coordinate with fund managers using Salesforce, Notion, and other tools.

The role emphasizes process improvement and tech-enabled efficiency while supporting recruitment and onboarding. You will work in a small team within the Investment Group, gain exposure to social impact investing, and contribute to the Foundations of Social Investment

Qualifications

• Experience in project management or administrative support in a busy environment.
• Experience supporting committees and liaising with members.
• Strong teamwork and relationship-building across levels.
• Proactive use of technology to improve efficiency, including AI.
• Experience in financial services, charities, or social enterprises is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Set up and communicate the annual investment calendar and manage key governance cycles with technology.
• Coordinate workflows for committees, Board meetings and portfolio progress meetings with fund managers.
• Track portfolio requirements and escalate where needed using checklists and follow-ups.
• Project manage governance and investment calendar components over time.
• Produce management information to support planning and budgeting.
• Support recruitment and onboarding to ensure a consistent experience for new joiners.
• Manage diaries for senior staff and arrange complex internal/external meetings digitally.
• Organise team meetings, away days and travel.
• Manage inquiries and route to colleagues as needed.
• Maintain relationship data in Salesforce, Notion and intranet.
• Coordinate learning resources and training schedules.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and provide cover.
• Participate in Citizenship activities to support great workplace culture.
• Develop and roll out project management tools for the team.
• Support adoption of new technology, including AI, across the Investment Group.
• Help map and improve investment processes for efficiency.
• Project manage Foundations of Social Investment Programme twice yearly for participants.
