Job summary

Samskip in Ipswich is seeking an Inside Sales Coordinator to join our ambitious Sales team. You will manage customer enquiries, prepare quotations and support new business opportunities, ensuring a professional and high-quality service at every stage.

You will collaborate with Sales, Customer Service and Operations to grow Samskip’s multimodal business across defined areas, maintain CRM records and contribute to revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage and respond to customer enquiries relating to pricing, quotations, services and information.
• Support the wider Sales team by prioritising enquiries and activities in line with objectives.
• Prepare quotations, follow up on sales leads and support conversion of new opportunities.
• Handle enquiries from new and existing customers, including quotation requests and sales support.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell Samskip services.
• Maintain accurate customer activity records within the CRM system.
• Work with Customer Service, Operations and Finance to ensure seamless delivery.
• Assist onboarding of new business, including SOPs and launch meetings.
• Help resolve escalated customer issues with internal teams and timely communication.
• Ensure documentation and service information are kept up to date in systems.
• Represent Samskip professionally, reflecting values and brand in communications.
