Job summary

Crane Building Services and Utilities (BS&U) is seeking an Inside Sales Administrator in Ipswich to act as the primary contact for distributors and area sales managers. You will coordinate all customer service aspects, process orders, provide quotations, and support delivery checks with a world-class service mindset.

The role involves handling inquiries, inputting orders into QAD, expediting with Supply Chain, and collaborating with Finance to resolve outstanding invoices, while leveraging Excel

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service ethos developed by working in a customer service industry, with experience dealing with demanding customers.
• Confident in outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven experience of dealing with customer concerns (complaints).
• Proven track record of developing sound working relationships with team members, customers and other functions within an organisation.

Responsibilities

• Dealing with incoming telephone and email enquiries from Customers promptly, efficiently and effectively.
• Inputting customer orders into QAD; providing pricing and quotations.
• Processing customer concerns using the Customer Concerns Software, including delivery, pricing and invoicing.
• Using QAD and reports to manage key customer order books and update projected sales.
• Expediting orders with Supply Chain and Planners to improve due dates.
• Coordinating with shipping to arrange airfreight/DHL shipments.
• Assisting Finance to reduce outstanding invoices and resolve discrepancies.
• Using CBS to improve processes and efficiency.
• Raising leads on new projects or customer requirements at the appropriate level.
• Completing ad hoc tasks and providing administrative support.
