Speedy Hire Plc., the UK’s leading tool and plant hire provider, is seeking a Hire Controller at Hull. You will coordinate the full hire process from order through delivery and collection, work closely with the depot team and customers to ensure accurate, timely service.

The role is desk-based with regular liaison to stock, drivers and engineers; you will build strong customer relationships, manage expectations, and support our ESG goals through efficient, compliant operations.

Qualifikationen

• Strong organisational skills.
• Strong communication skills both verbally & written.
• Adaptability.
• Commitment to learn and develop.
• Driving license.
• Previous experience working within the hire industry or similar sales or operational role.
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate the full hire process from taking the order through to delivery and collection.
• Liaise with the depot and other departments to meet customer needs and ensure satisfaction.
• Desk-based role with regular liaison with stock teams, drivers and engineers.
• Minimise delays in fulfilling customer requirements and maintain equipment availability.
• Support services from order through to payment and collection.
• Contribute to maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance.
