Job summary

Go Fractional is seeking a People & Culture Advisor to join our Knutsford office on a hybrid basis. You will manage a high-volume ER workload, guide managers, and own onboarding processes while shaping practical HR policies.

You will deliver compliant, fair employee relations support, advice on performance and attendance, and collaborate across Payroll, IT and Recruitment to ensure smooth employee journeys. Strong UK employment law knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5+ or equivalent experience is desirable.
• 3-5 years in a People/HR Advisor generalist role.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ACAS guidance.
• Experience in fast-paced agency environments is advantageous.
• Excellent questioning, investigation, and written skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS 365 including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams; familiarity with HiBob is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding & Induction: create a welcoming onboarding experience and coordinate contracts, data, access and timelines.
• Employee Relations: manage high-volume ER cases end-to-end with coaching for managers.
• Company policies & compliance: review and improve policies for legal compliance and practical use.
• Performance Management: support managers with performance improvement plans and formal processes.
• Payroll Support: ensure changes are submitted to Payroll timely.
• Statutory Requests & Employee Support: guidance on family leave, flexible working and rights.
• Compensation & Benefits: advise on benefits and communicate clearly to employees.
• Process Improvement & Generalist Delivery: map processes, create templates, and enable self-service guidance.
