Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Digital Infrastructure Design Lead Engineer to guide multi-disciplinary design across roadside and other major projects. You will provide client-facing technical advice and drive innovative digital design production within our Intelligent Infrastructure team.

You will mentor junior staff, navigate ambiguity, and escalate issues to project leadership when needed, leveraging your Chartered Engineer status or progression towards it.

Qualifications

• A degree in a relevant engineering discipline, or relevant experience in technology design.
• Either working towards professional registration or professionally registered with an accredited institute.
• In possession of domain knowledge in a relevant industry, such as power, communications, electrical, electronics or highway design.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical coordination across multi-disciplinary designs and provide client-facing technical advice on roadside infrastructure design.
• Collaborate efficiently with the team, share ideas, provide support and address gaps as necessary.
• Mentor and develop junior staff to grow capability within the team.
