Job summary

WSP seeks a Digital Infrastructure Design Lead Engineer to join our Intelligent Infrastructure team in the UK. You will lead technical coordination across multi-disciplinary designs, provide client-facing technical advice on roadside infrastructure, and drive innovative digital design production.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in engineering, professional registration or progress toward it, and domain knowledge across power, communications, electrical, electronics or highway design.

Qualifications

• Understanding of roadside infrastructure and design standards.
• Ability to carry out design processes, including the use of design tools.
• Experience leading technical teams in delivering designs or schemes.
• Collaborating with colleagues from other engineering disciplines.
• Chartered Engineer status.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical coordination across multi-disciplinary designs and provide client-facing technical advice on roadside infrastructure design.
• Collaborate efficiently with the team and mentor junior staff.
• Identify gaps and escalate issues to Project Leadership when appropriate.
