Job summary

WSP is seeking a Digital Infrastructure Design Lead Engineer to join its Intelligent Infrastructure team in the UK. The role focuses on leading the design of digital infrastructure across roadside and major projects, challenging traditional practices and delivering innovative solutions.

You will coordinate multi-disciplinary designs, advise clients on technical aspects, mentor junior staff, and work within a collaborative, inclusive environment that values curiosity and new ideas.

Qualifications

• A degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Working towards professional registration or registered with an accredited institute.
• Domain knowledge in power, communications, electrical, electronics or highway design.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical coordination across multi-disciplinary designs.
• Provide client-facing technical advice on roadside infrastructure design.
• Collaborate with colleagues from other engineering disciplines.
• Mentor and develop junior staff and address gaps as needed.
