Job summary

National Highways is expanding its Digital Services function to strengthen in-house cyber security, digital operations, and shared services. The Lead Service Manager role leads DevSecOps initiatives within Infrastructure & Platforms, guiding delivery from scoping to funding and final handover.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering DevSecOps in large organisations.
• Strong Agile and Azure DevOps knowledge.
• Excellent commercial and financial acumen.
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver strategic outcomes using DevSecOps within Infrastructure & Platforms.
• Scope, governance artefacts, funding, and end-to-end delivery of new capabilities.
• Hybrid role with two days in office; coordinate across UK offices and travel.
• Manage budget for DevSecOps practice and managed services contract.
• Lead and line-manage Senior Service Delivery Manager / Product Owner.
• Provide governance input for cloud compute roadmaps and commercial sourcing.
