Job summary

Saint-Gobain UK & Ireland is hiring a Digital DevOps & Release Manager to lead a four-person DevOps team, including offshore members, and own the DevOps/CI-CD design and release processes. The role sits within the Digital & IT function and supports multiple platforms across the UK.

The position combines technical leadership, people management and hands-on release governance to ensure safe, efficient software delivery. Hybrid work is available across Tadley, East Leake or Elland.

Qualifications

DevOps leadership experience managing technical teams.
Strong GitHub and CI/CD experience with automated testing.
Scripting and configuration knowledge (Bash, Python, YAML) and cloud tech.
Experience in Agile environments supporting developers.
Degree in Software Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of four DevOps Engineers, including offshore team.
Own design and ongoing development of DevOps and CI/CD environment.
Coordinate releases across multiple teams and technologies for Agile Release Train.
Collaborate with developers, test managers, IT Operations and project teams on deployment processes.
Improve release processes, governance,automation across MuleSoft and Salesforce.
