Job summary

Experis in Manchester is seeking an Environments & Release Lead to oversee planning, coordination and governance of releases across cloud and on-premise tech landscape. Hybrid working.

This senior role partners with development, testing, CAB, and operations, driving risk management, deployment readiness, and continuous process improvement to minimize disruption and improve delivery. The successful candidate will have experience in release/change/environment management and strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• Experience in Release, Change or Environment Management.
• Knowledge of coordinating releases across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Strong planning, governance and risk management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the release calendar across multiple tech platforms.
• Coordinate environment availability across Development, Test, UAT, Pre-Production and Production.
• Lead release planning and deployment readiness activities.
• Review implementation plans, testing evidence and readiness criteria.
• Chair and contribute to CAB meetings.
• Identify and mitigate release and environment risks.
• Coordinate go-live activities and handover to operations.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardisation of release and environment processes.
